The first children's film by Emmy award-winning directors Judy Irving and Chris Beaver shows how much fun it is to pitch in and restore the environment. From the simple clean-up of trash to the planting of native plants, from island habitat restoration to the rescue and care of wild animals, we see kids having a real impact on the natural world around them.

The film includes rare footage of endangered species such as the clapper rail and peregrine falcon, plus favorite animals like sea lions and brown pelicans. Kids by the Bay features an upbeat music score including Otis Redding's classic song, Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay.
