Welcome to the Video Project Happy Earth Day from everyone at The Video Project! We are proud to have concluded our 27th year of delivering outstanding documentary films and series - the very best in educational media - to schools, libraries, institutions and homes worldwide. 2008 brings some exciting developments and we are pleased to offer you new quality programs and enhanced DVD products that contain special features and tools to help educators engage with their audience.
Please keep your eye out for our upcoming release of the 2008 Video Project Catalog, several new feature titles here on our homepage, and considerable improvements to our webstore. Also look for the Video Project to offer more titles on DVD than ever before in 2008. We’ve bolstered our already outstanding collection of environmental and science programs and have added timely selections from a diverse range of topics including autism, religious tolerance, GMO’s, alternative energy, nanotechnology, peak oil, the coal crisis, global climate change, Africa, environmental ethics, and public health.
Our recent partnership with Bay Area media company Specialty Studios has greatly enhanced both our DVD authoring and product development capabilities. The Video Project will offer more titles in the DVD format than ever before, and we’ve spared no effort in optimizing each of our new titles for educational use. New Video Project titles are loaded with web-enabled DVD-ROM content, digital supplements that put a wealth of pertinent information and opportunity right at the fingertips of the student or teacher.
